Overview
Sotogrande is a private residential estate in the municipality of San Roque (province of Cádiz), founded in the early 1960s. It stretches from the Mediterranean and the mouth of the Guadiaro river up into the hills, and marks the western end of the Costa del Sol new-development corridor.

- Sotogrande Marina & Port – waterfront apartments, restaurants and moorings.
- Sotogrande Alto – larger plots and villas in the hills.
- La Reserva – the newest part of the estate, around La Reserva Club.
- Kings & Queens – residential area between the coast and the hills.
- Valderrama – around the Valderrama golf course, host of the 1997 Ryder Cup.
