Overview

The Costa del Sol runs along the Mediterranean coast of southern Spain. Most new residential developments are built along the corridor from Málaga in the east to Sotogrande in the west: Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, Benahavís, Estepona, Casares, Manilva, San Roque and Sotogrande.

Sotogrande and San Roque lie in the province of Cádiz; the rest of the corridor is in the province of Málaga. Both provinces are in Andalusia.

Getting here

Málaga–Costa del Sol airport serves the whole coast; Gibraltar airport is close to Sotogrande and San Roque.
