Overview

Marbella runs for roughly 27 km along the coast between Cabopino in the east and Guadalmina in the west, with the Sierra Blanca mountains behind. It combines a historic old town, an international marina at Puerto Banús and a wide spread of residential neighbourhoods.

Areas

• Golden Mile – between Marbella town and Puerto Banús.
• Nueva Andalucía – the “Golf Valley” behind Puerto Banús.
• San Pedro de Alcántara – a town centre with its own boulevard and beachfront.
• Marbella East – Río Real, Los Monteros, Elviria and Cabopino.

Transport

Málaga airport is approximately 45–60 minutes by car via the AP-7 / A-7. Gibraltar airport is around an hour to the west.
