New-build properties
New-build homes bought from a developer are subject to VAT (IVA) – 10% on residential property – plus stamp duty (AJD) set by the Andalusian government. Confirm current rates with your lawyer before purchase.
Resale properties
Resale homes pay transfer tax (ITP) instead of VAT.
